Robert “Bob” Smith, 64, passed from this life on Saturday October 12, 2019 in Temple Texas. Mr. Smith was born in Watertown, NY to Gordon & Dorothy (Weaver) Smith on January 9, 1955. He married his wife Cindy on March 19, 2005 in Oenaville, Texas.
Robert was a quiet & hardworking man who was devoted, patient, and very loving. He enjoyed helping people, playing with his grandkids, hunting, and his beloved chihuahua Sammi.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Gordon & Dorothy and his stepson Derek Giroux.
Robert is survived and cherished by his wife Cindy, his stepdaughter Misty Ferguson of Siloan Springs, Arkansas, his stepson Shawn Seymour & wife Krista of Meade, Kansas, stepson AJ Giroux of Troy , Texas, stepson Mikey Giroux & wife Channing of Temple, Texas, his brother Gordon Smith & wife Barb of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his sister Sandra Thomas, sister Judy Neary and sister Christine Sourwire (all of New York) as well as 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A visitation will take place from 10-11am on Saturday October 19, 2019 at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home. A service will immediately follow at 11:00am.
