Ray “Ace” Espinoza Jr., age 37, of Temple passed from this life during the morning hours of Saturday, May 25, 2019 at a local hospital. He was born in Temple on the 29th day of December 1981 to parents Ray Espinoza Sr. and Arcelia M. Santos.

In his younger years Ray, who everyone referred to as “Ace” attended schools in Temple and for a short period of time in Tennessee. Ace also practiced martial arts when he was a young man. Throughout his whole life music was his passion. He loved writing, producing and recording music. Ace was very much gifted when it came to the drum set. He had the ability to make the drums sing; he made them the backbone of the song that was being played. Ace was a devoted family man. Everyone knew that his family came first especially his daughter Zoey and his wife Jennifer. Jennifer and Ace had been married for 13 years prior to his passing. Ace was fun to be around and was the life of the party. The love and devotion to his family and his music will be the legacy that he leaves to be enjoyed for generations to come.
Ace is preceded in death by his daughter Alicia Rae Espinoza as well has his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
He leaves behind his wife Jennifer Yarbrough, daughter Zoey Rae Espinoza, parents Ray Espinoza Sr. and Arcelia Santos all of Temple as well as 3 sisters Yvette Hernandez-Flores of Temple, Natalia Hernandez of Temple and Renee April Espinoza of Hutto. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2 o’clock p.m.
