Obituary

Martha “Bertie” Pryor, 92, passed from this life on October 15, 2019. She was born on October 2, 1927 in Belton, Texas to Latamore and Susan (Taylor) Perry. Martha was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed gardening and her church (Lakeview Baptist Church), of which she was a founding member. She was fond of caring for her beautiful yard, fruit trees, farm life, and flowers; especially red roses.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, her daughter Martha, and her parents L.W & Susan Perry.
Martha leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children Cecil Pryor Jr. (Janice) of Moffat, Texas, Bobbie Wetz (Clarence) of Wallis, Texas, and Susan Moore (Jeff) of Harker Heights, Texas. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Pryor was a resident of the same nursing home my grandparents were at , and she would always greet and speak to me each time I visited. She was lively and always smiling and just happy to be with people. God bless her and the family.
