Frank Eggers Martinez, age 47, of Temple passed from this life during the morning hours of Monday, October 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by his beloved family. Born on the 15th day of March 1972 in Laredo, Texas Frank was the son of Francisco and Christina (Guerra) Martinez.
Frank was raised in Stephenville, Texas. In Stephenville he caught the eye of Maria DeLacruz. The young couple would be married and spend the next 27 years together walking hand-in-hand building a life and a family together. Frank loved fast cars and country music. His real passion in life though was his family and especially his grandchildren. He loved spending time with family and friends. Frank had been employed by Round Rock ISD for many years before he had gotten sick. He was a member of The Point Fellowship in Temple and has been a resident of this area for the past 10 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter Austin Martinez.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Maria Martinez of Temple, 2 daughters Dakoda Martinez and Amanda Overs as well as his son Jacob Gonzalez all of Temple. He also leaves his goddaughter Avery Contreras, a stepmother Gloria Martinez of San Antonio and a stepfather Juan Villa of Stephenville.
A funeral service and visitation will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at starting at 10 o’clock a.m.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
