Celestine “Tino” Martinez, age 61, of Rogers passed from this life during the afternoon hours of Thursday, September 26, 2019 at a Cameron nursing facility. He was born in Cameron on the 27th day of July 1958 to his parents Joe and Janie (Landeros) Martinez.

Tino grew up in Rogers and has been a resident there for his entire life. He married Malissa “Missy” Lancaster on June 22, 2018 in Temple. Tino and Missy have made their home together in Rogers since they were married. Tino was a very giving man who would given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved to have a good time and enjoy himself wherever he went. Tino was an avid Cowboys fan and loved the Rogers Eagles. He was a Christian and knew of his eternal reward in heaven when his time here was complete.

He is preceded in death by his mother Janie as well as his brother Gerard Martinez Sr. and his nephew Gerard Martinez Jr.

Tino leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Missy Martinez, his 3 sons Andrew, Jason and Christopher, his father Joe Martinez Sr., 3 brothers Joe Martinez Jr., Phillip Martinez and Johnny Martinez, 1 sister Guadalupe and 2 grandchildren.

Services will be planned at a later date.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
